How does the Jupiter Jack actually perform?

Originally pitched by Billy Mays (and then later featured on Discovery Channel’s Pitchmen), the Jupiter Jack lets you talk and listen to cell phone calls – hands-free.

Using a cell phone without a hands-free device isn’t safe. It’s also illegal in many states.

The Jupiter Jack essentially works by turning your car radio into a hands free phone. It is specifically designed to work with any cell phone and car. To use it, you need to plug in the Jupiter Jack into the place where you would normally plug in your headphone, tune your radio to the correct F.M station and start talking. Jupiter Jack is able to transmit quality sounds through the speakers in your car.

As claimed on the infomercial, the Jupiter Jack can work with any cell phone since it comes with several adapters that are compatible different individual phones.

The sound quality is also excellent with incoming and outgoing calls. Some have actually found this sound quality better than many bluetooth devices.

In summary, the Jupiter Jack can be used to provide the ability to improve driving safety, allow for the legal use of your cell phone while driving, and provide convenience. Here were a few comments we received about the Jupiter Jack:

I just ordered the Jupiter Jack but I later discovered that I couldn,t find the head-phone jack. I have A Motorola Razar cell phone, can anyone tell me where I plug the Jack into it? Thanks Howard Cresey

Howard, I have this same motorola phone. There is a funny looking port on the side that looks like a squished USB port. Well, your phone should have came with an adapter that makes this into a headphone jack (It’s a wire converter about 4 inches in lenght). Anyways, hope this helps. - D
