  1. SUCKERS SITE
    Reviewed/Rated November 7, 2010 at 3:22 pm | Permalink

THIS SHOULD BE CALLED THE SUCKER’S SITE. THEY OFFER A FREE CREDIT CHECK AND THEN THEY DISCLOSE THAT IT WILL COST $ 1.00 AND THEN COLLECT YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO. THEN WHEN YOU PROCEED WITH THEIR PROGRAM WITH THE AUTHORIZED $ 1.00 FEE THEY WILL LEAD YOU TO BELIVE THAT WAS THE CHARGE UNTIL THEY START TO CHARGE THE “SUCKER’S “ACCOUNT WITH THEIR ADDITIONAL FEE’S THAT ARE NOT ADVERTIZED. SO WHEN YOU USE THE ” FREE CREDIT CHECK” SITE YOU BETTER
READ THE “small print” THAT THEY DON’T WANT YOU TO CHECK OUT.
THEY SAID THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OVERDRAFT FEE’S THAT YOU CAN ENCURR BECAUSE YOU PROBABLY WILL NOT KNOW THAT THEY ARE CHARGING YOU THE FEE. SO BEWARE THERE ARE ADDITIONAL FEE’S TO THEIR OFFER.
IT HAPPENED TO ME ! ! ! ! *** SO WHAT DO YOU THINK
    THEIR RATING SHOULD BE ? ? ?

    SUCKERED AS WELL.! !

This company is definitely a scam. Me and my husband signed up for 7 day trials and cancelled within 7days. They still charged both of us for 2 months in a roll until we called our credit company for cancellation of our credit cards. When we called Freescore for cancellation, the representative told us that it’s been taken care of. Then, we never expect that we’d get charged for 2 months in a roll. If they made one mistake on cancellation process in one of our account may seem forgivable. However, they charged both of us separately after cancellation means that Freescore is definitely a scam. DO NOT USE IT… WARMING!!!

Freescore advertises free credit rating score. Then, there is apparently fine print that they will charge $9.99 per month to scan your credit card charges to protect your credit. Its a scam.

Please cancel my trial membership with your company. If my credit caed account is charged even $1.00 I will have no problem gathering other disgruntled customers and start a Action against your Company for fraud and Mail fraud. I am informing your company now that I want my trail account closed and all and any money’s charged be charged back to my credit card account. Also I would l;ike a confirmation em,ail from your company acknowledging this and that my account is closed.

I called FreeScore’s 800 number because I noticed a $19.95 charge to our credit card that I did not recognize. Neither my husband nor I ever signed up as we have long known that credit report services are a rip-off. We were promised a cancellation and a full credit. However, the cancellation did not take place for 6 weeks after my first call, resulting in two more monthly charges, and the total credit was $1. After calling several more times to complain, I finally got one month of the three credited. A TOTAL SCAM!

    SCAM…SCAM…SCAM. this freecreditscore.com screams scam.
if your are a fool to give up info to this and any web site that said free but want your card number, you don’t need your money… give it to people that will use it the right way and for good reasons, not to the people that will line there pockets with your money. I never tryed this or any site on the web that ask for your card number to give you something for free, that alone should be a red flag… I can use some money to feed my animals here on the farm, give me your card number, and i will give you free photo’s of my goats… Ha Ha Haaaa LOL

We gave this site ( ZERO Star Score ) Serious concerns regarding the level of legitimacy.

    FREE SCORE 360 – SCAM
    Cost: $29.95 per month

Free Score 360 offers not only a “Free” 3-in-1 credit report but also a savings club membership. This brought instant concerns to us knowing that an unrelated “Savings Club” is of no benefit to us when our focus is on our credit. Also, until you read the fine-print language you really aren’t aware that you are signing up for a monthly service that costs $29.95, billed directly to your credit card. In our mind, these are the type of companies that look and feel like scam artists.

When we focused in on the actual credit reporting provided by Free Score 360 we found that the monthly report includes information from TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. The report merges all information and provides scores from each bureau as well. The reports are simple to read and allow for an easy comparison between results for accuracy. The report is provided via an online tool only. Reports are not emailed, you must print a copy for yourself to keep.

Free Score 360 provides daily monitoring of credit. Any changes to your credit are reported within 24 hours of the update. What specific aspects of credit changes that are reported was unavailable and therefore presents concern regarding the scope of their monitoring.

All in all, after fully reviewing this company, we continued to have serious concerns regarding the level of legitimacy. We found numerous customer complaints regarding the free credit report, trying to cancel and still getting charged $29.95 each month. Rather than spend the exorbitant monthly fee for this service, we recommend one of the higher ranked companies in our review.

I too got ripped off. I called and cancelled with the 7 days and they charged the $19.95 two months, I replied to an email they sent requesting cancellation and I was charged a third time. I call the 800 number I had to get from my credit card company and was talked down to and treated like I was wrong. I even pulled up my sent email to give them the info and offered to resend it and she claimed that was not their company. I ask her to work through this because if this was not her company that I had been dealing with and I sign up for another company then how did she get my info and why were they charging me??? She would not have the conversation and refunded one months service. I have never before used and online service for this service and this was the one and only time, so I know I didn’t sign up with another company, then she proceeds to tell me the two times I logged in and that was correct, because they are the same company. the email even had links in it to their company. I read the email and she told me I was wrong. SCAM, SCAM, SHAME ONE THEM!!

I went to Free Score dot com today (I spelled out the name because I don’t want to refer them to anyone) and they said you can view your credits reports and scores in 3 easy steps. They say it’s free. They took my card information and said it would be used to confirm my ID; In fact they charged me $1.00after I got fed up with the many offers they presented and cancelled the account. It’s a scam to get your money!! Do not use them. A dollar is not much money but when they’re stolen using misleading information they can add up and it’s a crime that we should not be victim too.

I also did not order this. All of my payments are automatically deducted monthly, hence, I seldom even glance at my bank statements. I wonder how long this scam-company has been ramming me for $15 bucks a month!!! I did go into their site and look at their offering; recognizing it as a scam, I X’d out. But they are getting $$ from my acct anyway. How do they do that?? sdl

So basically they are taking $14.95 a month for the next 3 months.
Legalized robbery it should be Illegal.
They are scammers. Trust the old addage nothing is for free.

This “FreeCreditScore” is a pure RIP-OFF and SCAM!! I cancelled membership on the same day via email and got the response of “be in touch in 1 to 2 business days” which NEVER happened! Sent THREE other emails of cancellation prior to the end of the “7″ day trail and got NO RESPONSE from FreeScore! Then noticed two seperate charges of “19.95″ on my card account at the bank! Called this company and cancelled and got confirmation #, but they refused to refund my money!! Advice to everyone “DO NOT EVER GO TO “FreeCreditScore” because it’s DEFINITELY NOT FREE!

As of today they have charged my account $19.95 and as I told Silvia (the supervior) They never even told me my score. I would at least like to know my score!!!!!!!!!

Regardless of the legitimacy (or otherwise) of this service, FreeScore has to be guilty of one of the most offensive and disgusting advertisements in commercial television history. I refer to the current TV commercial featuring three guys in body suits, each representing a ‘credit rating. Two are in the 700s, the third -Mr. ‘535′ – a George Costanza lookalike in a goalie mask who, to show his undesirability, drills in his right ear with his finger, pulls it out, studies the evidence of wax buildup, sniffs it, shakes it off and wipes the residue on the bottom of his bodysuit!

Whatever else it offers, – or doesn’t offer, according to some reviewers above – FreeScore should be utterly ashamed of this piece of tastelessness! Surely there is some monitoring body responsible for filtering out grossness of this kind before it’s foisted onto a revolted viewing public?
